The former residence of Zhao Xian Chu is located at No. 65, Bei Zhai Street, Xitang Town. Zhao Xian Chu (1907-1999) was a well-known educator in contemporary China. He graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1928 and served as the deputy district head and vice-chairman of Xuhui District, Shanghai, after the liberation. The residence, facing east and situated to the west, is a two-story building with a hard mountain top, three bays wide, with an overall width of 12 meters and a depth of 5.4 meters.
