Zunwentang was built in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty. The Hundred Longevity Hall in it is truly remarkable.

The beams, columns and corridor windows in the hall all have patterns. The forms are vivid, the knife work is delicate, and the carving is exquisite. There are one hundred ‘longevity’ characters engraved in the middle of the beams and columns, forming a long diamond shape. In the middle are decorated with cloud patterns. The cloud patterns float by and pass through the middle holes of two copper coins on the left and right.

Looking up from the small patio, the overlapping eaves, ridges and wind and fire horsehead walls cut the blue sky into jagged blocks, which is also a unique landscape of Jiangnan dwellings.

The crossbeam is supported by two cylindrical pillars in the shape of a door. The柱头 carving is very special. The cross-shaped column ornaments support the crossbeam and the longitudinal beams on the front and back sides. The column ornaments on each side are different. The auspicious patterns are unique in shape and finely carved, which are rare in the dwellings in this area. The diameter of the door-shaped cylindrical pillar is about 30 centimeters. The pillar stone below is bluestone. There is also a square stone under the stone drum, all of which are carved with auspicious patterns. Its structure and scale are similar to the main hall of Zhongfutang.

There is a small patio outside the hall, paved with stone slabs, clean and elegant. The patio is separated from Shipi Alley by only one wall, and there is a small tiled wall door as a passage.

There are 10 floor-to-ceiling long windows in front of the hall. The eaves corridor connected with the long windows is composed of curved ridge rafters. There are exquisite patterns carved on the lintel, which is very exquisite. The tile boards between the rafters are flat and smooth, and the processing is fine. There are also various folk auspicious patterns carved on the small rafters next to the lintel.
