The Sanqingshan Xiaoyao Valley scenic area is located in the core area of the Sanqingshan scenic area in Shangrao – Jinsha Service Area. It is composed of three parts: the ancient Ming and Qing Xiaoyao Street, the large-scale performance ‘World Sanqing’, and the Xiaoyao Valley Forest Park. The Xiaoyao Valley Forest Park is densely covered with primitive jungles and gurgling mountain springs, refreshing the body and mind.

The original ecological environment makes the negative oxygen ion content in the air reach 15,000 per cubic centimeter. Taking parents and children for a walk in the forest can bring peace and rejuvenation. Xiaoyao Lake is located at the upper source of the Xinjiang River, the mother river of Shangrao. Surrounded by green mountains and clear waters. The scenic area has focused on creating a first-phase tour route around Xiaoyao Lake and set up experience projects such as the Qinglong glass water slideway, the Baihu challenge bridge, the rainbow glass bridge, the high-altitude swing, the shouting spring, and the high-altitude glass observation deck.

There are also parent-child projects such as the Squirrel Kingdom, the Peacock Forest, and the Tianquan Waterfall. The large-scale performance ‘World Sanqing’ is directed by Duan Jianping, the winner of the sixth Wenhua Director Award. 100 actors combine colorful stage beauty to vividly present the cultural history and natural beauty of Sanqingshan. The performance mainly consists of six scenes: ‘Created by Nature’, ‘Sanqing Blessed Land’, ‘Oriental Goddess’, ‘Eternal Mystery’, ‘Cultural Inheritance’, and ‘Worshiping Sanqing’.

It lasts for 70 minutes and integrates various elements such as the natural scenery, local customs, historical anecdotes, cultural ceremonies, and life philosophy of Sanqingshan. It is a performance worth watching during the Sanqingshan tour. The architectural style of the ancient Xiaoyao Street is mainly Ming and Qing Huizhou ancient architecture, with clear axes, left-right symmetry, closed appearance, and deep courtyards.

The exquisite wood carvings are vivid, and the ancient bluestone street tells history. Inside the ancient street, there are characteristic humanistic landscapes such as the Jingya Pavilion Tea House, the Lucky Windmill, the Laba Winery, the Tofu Workshop, the open-air cinema, the Baopu Blessing Cave, the Yangxin Residence, the Qiankun Gate, and the Xiaoyao Tour Cliff, which make people linger.
