Cui Ping Lake is located on the eastern outskirts of Gutian County, 3 kilometers away from the city center. It has a subtropical climate, with vast and misty waters and fresh air, making it feel like spring all year round. The lake covers an area of 37.1 square kilometers and has a water storage capacity of 641 million cubic meters, with water quality so clear that it meets the national second-level standard. There are thirty-six islands of various sizes, facing each other across the water. Along the lake, there is the Linshui Palace, the ancestral temple of the universally recognized ‘Shun Tian Holy Mother’ Chen Jinggu, which is listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit by the provincial people’s government.
