Yeli Island is situated between Xianglu Bay and Xiangzhou Bay in Zhuhai, connected to the city center by Haiyan Bridge. It is one of the closer islands to the urban area of Zhuhai. The island is not large; walking around the whole island takes about forty minutes, and bicycles can be rented for cycling. On weekends, many locals visit the island with friends and family for picnics, hiking, and watching the sunrise.
Yeli Island enjoys a convenient geographical and transportation location, connected by the 340-meter-long Haiyan Bridge to Liuren Middle Road. Many tourists drop by while strolling along Liuren Road. The island features a green path around it, and if you have enough energy, you can leisurely walk or rent a bicycle at the park entrance to cycle around the island. Bicycles are also available for rent on the island, although they may be more expensive than those at the entrance. There are four small peaks on the island, with Ye Li Mountain being the tallest, with an elevation of less than 70 meters. Many residents come here on weekends to climb the mountain and enjoy the sunrise and sunset while basking in the sea breeze, offering a pleasant view. Additionally, the Zhuhai Opera House, an opera house built on the island, is located on the coast of Yeli Island.
