Tianhu Park is located in the northwest of Xiqiao Mountain. It was originally an ancient crater and has now become a multi-functional leisure park with clear water and green mountains. The lake water is clear and blue. Flowers, trees, and pavilions are dotted around the lake. The scenery is natural and interesting. It is a good place for tourists to watch dragons and go boating to wait for the moon. Tianhu covers an area of about 120 mu. It is surrounded by green peaks on three sides. There is an art square on the huge dam on the north side. Along the lake shore are Longzhu Pavilion, Wenlong Pavilion, Shuiyuexuan, Daiyue Pavilion, and Yuanyang Pavilion. There is a zigzag bridge crossing the east of the lake. These small structures with national characteristics make the landscape of Tianhu extremely enchanting. There is a Guanlong Tower standing high in the south of the lake. It was built for folk dragon boat races. As early as the Ming Dynasty, there was a folk activity of ‘dragon boat racing on the mountainside’ on Xiqiao Mountain. Whenever there is a bumper year, local people compete to hold dragon boat races here. Tianhu Park is also equipped with a novel and unique ‘laser dream water curtain movie’. Around the Double Ninth Festival every year, Xiqiao Mountain Joy Festival is held in Tianhu. In the past, Xiqiao Mountain, which was as quiet as a virgin, is full of excitement. Not far from Tianhu, there is a Yunduan Village, one of the seven villages on the top of Xiqiao Mountain. Tourists can follow the mountain path when they have free time and directly enter the village houses to experience the rural life of ‘there are people living in the peach blossom garden’.
