Xiasha Village, now the central area of Huangpu District, is surrounded by high-rise buildings. The two large ponds within the village are still preserved, with several old ancestral halls and study rooms scattered around the ponds of varying sizes. The large banyan tree at the entrance of the village is over a hundred years old, and the sporadic landscapes still reveal the ancient village atmosphere.
