Magnolia Garden

The Magnolia Garden spans an area of 170 acres and conserves 144 species of Magnoliaceae plants across 11 genera, with over 200 varieties, making it a global center for the conservation and research of Magnoliaceae plants.
The garden is renowned for its full display of the floral and fruit forms of Magnolia plants, along with its exquisite garden landscape, turning it into a leisure spot where visitors linger and an important venue for popular science education.
From February to May each year, the Magnolia flowers bloom in a splendid array. Familiar species such as the white Magnolia, purple Magnolia, and Michelia are all part of the Magnoliaceae family. They are known for their graceful tree shapes, large and elegant flowers, and rich fragrance, making them a traditional choice in Chinese gardens.
The garden is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
