Maling Flower Botanical Garden spans a planned area of 3000 mu, with a project schedule to open in three phases. The first phase is scheduled to open on December 30, 2023. The garden aims to create a unique and differentiated layout around the Maling Reservoir, integrating sightseeing, immersive forest experiences, science education, outdoor leisure and entertainment, and dining services into a comprehensive tourist attraction.
The first phase covers an area of 1000 mu, including a flower garden area, four immersive animal experience zones in the forest, an outdoor leisure and entertainment area, and is equipped with a distinctive transportation feature – a tram. The flower garden area, known as Ni Chang Garden, is a specialized garden that combines colorful bougainvilleas with Lingnan garden landscapes.
The immersive animal experience zones include Lu Ming Peninsula, where hundreds of sika deer live along the lake, allowing visitors to interact closely with them. Additionally, there are numerous animal groups such as peacocks, squirrels, parrots, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, and Angora rabbits, all offering immersive interactions.
The first phase of the outdoor leisure and entertainment area primarily focuses on water entertainment, including painted boats, electric boats, and barbecue boats. Visitors can enjoy the lake scenery while cruising on Maling Lake, providing a relaxing and pleasant experience.
The 2000-meter tram journey not only replaces walking but also allows visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Additional information: Seniors aged 70 and above must be accompanied by an adult under 60 years old when entering the park.
