Jiang Guangnai’s former residence in Guangzhou is located at No. 87, Fengyuan North Street, Longjin West Road. The museum’s main building consists of three floors. The first floor is furnished with antique furniture and a phonograph, among other items. The second and third floors have been converted into exhibition halls, focusing on the life and achievements of General Jiang Guangnai. Some innovative techniques are employed in the displays, such as one exhibition hall that utilizes light, electricity, and sound technology, along with sandbags and fences, to ‘recreate’ a wartime scene. In the study, lifelike wax figures are set up to depict Jiang Guangnai in conversation with his friends. The theme of the third floor’s display is ‘Family Ties and Enjoying Family Happiness,’ showcasing several family portraits, everyday photos, as well as Jiang Guangnai’s personal leather bag and overcoat, all imbued with a strong sense of human warmth. The museum is open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-17:00; closed all day on Mondays.
