Built in 1923, the Xingzhonghui Cemetery is the burial ground for the martyrs of the Xinhai Revolution, located at No. 25, Xianlie South Road, adjacent to Deng Yinnan’s tomb. The entire cemetery spans several acres, with lush green grass and shaded trees.
A yellow archway stands at the front of the cemetery, inscribed with ‘Xingzhonghui Cemetery’. There is a square stone pillar monument named ‘Ancestral Xingzhonghui Cemetery’, with inscriptions on the base detailing the reasons and process of building the cemetery. The graves are arranged in a straight line from east to west, housing members such as Pan Jia, Song Shaoyin, Song Juren, Zhen Bi, Zhen Jiting, Huang Bihua, Huang Longsheng and his wife, Huang Guiyue, Lin Yonglun and his wife He, Song Shaodong, Lin Haishan and his wife Zheng. Among them, the Huang Bihua tomb, built in 1923, is the earliest and largest in scale. The tombs vary in design, including memorial-style, pavilion-style, and individual tombstones, ranging from tall and simple to short and exquisite.
