The Guangzhou Railway Museum is located at No. 3 Yujiang Road, Huangsha Avenue, Liwan District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, covering an area of 28,950 square meters, including an outdoor area of 18,489 square meters and an indoor area of 10,461 square meters. It is divided into two indoor exhibition halls and one open-air exhibition area, making it a specialized museum in the field of transportation.
In May 2022, the Guangzhou Railway Museum officially opened to the public. Built on the original site of the century-old Huangsha Station, the museum’s architecture retains its original appearance, integrating display, collection, exhibition, popular science, and education. It houses a collection of over 4,000 historical relics and old items, serving as an important window for presenting the multi-dimensional history of railway development. Opening hours are Tuesday to Friday from 09:00 to 16:00; Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00; and closed all day on Mondays.Guangzhou Railway Museum
