The Guangzhou Folk Museum is located at No. 268, Changgan Avenue, originally the site of the Jincheng Bank Guangzhou Branch. It is the first museum in China themed around folk finance. The initial investment for the museum was 3 million yuan, employing various methods such as physical artifacts, historical photographs, scene recreations, interactive games, and multimedia presentations to showcase the history of folk finance development in China.
The museum comprehensively displays the leading role of modern Guangzhou in the folk finance industry and the construction process of the modern Guangzhou Changgan Folk Finance Street. It plays a significant role in exploring the cultural depth of the folk finance street, highlighting the unique Guangzhou folk finance culture, and promoting the development of the folk finance industry. The museum is open all year round from Monday to Saturday, 09:00-18:00.
