Jinhua Temple in Guangzhou, also known as Jinhua Ancient Temple, is located at the foot of White Crane Hill in Changzhou Town, Huangpu District. It is one of the most complete Jinhua Temples discovered in Guangzhou to date.
Built during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, Jinhua Temple has a history of 600 years. It underwent renovation during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. A stele, measuring 2 meters in length and 1.2 meters in width, titled ‘Record of the Renovation of Jinhua Ancient Temple’, is still preserved in the stele corridor of Jinhua Street. In the past, the temple was dedicated to the worship of the Goddess Jinhua. It is open all day from January 1st to December 31st.Jinhua Ancient Temple
