Guangdong Science and Technology Library, formerly known as the Guangzhou Branch Library of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Central South Branch Library of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Central South Science Library, was officially renamed in 1978. The library features various sections including a Science and Technology Periodicals Reading Area, Foreign Language Periodicals Reading Area, Children’s Science Popularization Reading Room, Children’s Science Popularization Activity Area, and an Electronic Reading Area. The library is open all year round from Wednesday to Sunday, 09:00-17:00.
