Joyous Wa Valley

Joyous Wa Valley in Conghua boasts a unique primitive tribe in Guangdong, currently the only one of its kind. It is home to a Wa ethnic group from Yunnan. The Wa people are known for their kindness, simplicity, and exuberant nature. Their bold and unrestrained character has resulted in a natural propensity for song and dance; every Wa person, young or old, can sing and dance, even their hair seems to dance. Brown skin, black hair, wooden drum dance, hair-swinging dance, bull sacrificing, and the totem of the bull’s head all vividly reflect the cultural characteristics of the Wa people, creating a distinctive Wa culture.
A variety of colorful and delightful projects are available in Joyous Wa Valley: thrilling canyon adventure areas, awe-inspiring ethnic performance areas, captivating leisure and entertainment areas, and tantalizing wild food areas. Tribal people eat live snakes, swallow soil, chew leaves, and perform daring activities such as walking on hot coals and sharp blades. They also demonstrate thrilling acts like fire dancing, licking hot steel plates, and shattering glass. There are also song and dance performances such as ‘Hair Swinging Dance’, ‘Wa Ethnic Wine Song’, and ‘New House Wine Song’, as well as large-scale interactive activities for visitors like ‘Pole Dance’ and ‘Wind Dance Wa Mountain’.
In the evening, you can join the passionate bonfire party, roast a whole lamb, drink beer, and have a great time with Wa brothers and sisters.
