On January 7, 2019, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province and the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism launched the relocation and resettlement of residents of Yang Family Ancestral Hall, restoration of cultural relics buildings, micro-transformation of the surrounding environment and exhibition layout. The aim is to further carry forward revolutionary traditions and inherit red genes. After 113 days of intense efforts, Yang Family Ancestral Hall was officially opened to the public on April 30. Since then, the century-old ancestral hall has taken on a new look and become a position for promoting and educating red culture. Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year, from 09:00 to 17:00.
