SoundFact is honored to announce that in December this year, we will invite the kanekoayano band led by Japanese creative singer Kaneko Ayano to come to China and start a four-city tour in the winter, which seems to be the most suitable season for their warm music style. This is the first time kanekoayano has come to mainland China and will also be the last band tour presented by SoundFact in 2024.

Kaneko Ayano (Kaneko Ayano) was born in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan in 1993. Since 2014, she has released multiple albums successively, shuttling between band and solo states, becoming a unique presence in the Japanese music scene. The tickets for their tours in Japan and the UK were all sold out. They have successively appeared on music festival stages such as Fuji Rock in Japan, Mori Michi Ichi, The Great Escape in the UK, and Asian Pop Festival in South Korea.

Among Kaneko Ayano’s records, ‘Festival’ and ‘Brilliant’ were selected for the CD Shop Awards voted by CD store clerks all over Japan. ‘Brilliant’ also won the 12th ‘Blue’ award (Best New Singer). ‘Consolation’ was created during the epidemic. Different from the cheerful melodies of the previous two albums, it shares its innermost private emotions with fans with a sad undertone and the most sincere language. In 2023, ‘The Towel Blanket is Calm’ was widely praised, presenting a more impactful voice and melody than before, and the image of a rock band has begun to emerge.

On August 3, 2024, during the performance at Tokyo Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall, Kaneko Ayano officially announced the establishment of the band kanekoayano. The members include guitarist Hayashi Hirotoshi, bassist Iizuka Takuya, and drummer Sakashita Hikaru (*Sakashita Hikaru is taking a temporary break due to personal reasons. The drummer for support will replace him for this tour.).
The newly formed Kaneko Ayano live performance is vastly different from before, with the four members showcasing an unparalleled cohesion and unleashing an even more powerful and overwhelming energy than ever. They have not only reinterpreted and performed their previous works in a completely new way but also intensified the psychedelic rock elements. It can be said that Kaneko Ayano is leading the band towards a new direction at a rapid pace. Embracing life and freely composing odes to love, listening to the music created by Kaneko Ayano, in this restless era, always brings us a moment of tranquility and more touching and energetic experiences. In December of this year, Kaneko Ayano, invited by SoundFact, will make their first appearance in Mainland China for a tour across four cities. We look forward to meeting everyone at the live show and believe it will be the best gift for ourselves, our loved ones, family, and friends this winter. The full event opens on 12/08, Sunday, with the performance starting at 20:30. The specific duration of the show will be determined on-site.
