Shuangzhong Spring is located on the north side at the western end of Shuangzhong Temple Street in Jinan City (west of the North Gate of Shandong Provincial People’s Government).
During the Qing Kangxi period, when Shuangzhong Temple was restored, the spring was discovered while digging, hence it was named after the temple. The spring pool consists of two overlapping square shapes, covering an area of about 8 square meters with a depth of 5 meters. The pool is made of stone, has clear water quality, and is perennially watered. In the northeast corner of the spring pool, there is a stele inscribed with the words ‘Shuangzhong Spring’ by a contemporary calligrapher.
