The 12-story Southern Building is one of the landmark buildings by the Pearl River. To its east is the Aiqun Building. To its west are the ancient Guangzhou Customs and Cultural Park. Further ahead is Shamian. Nearby are Guangzhou road sections such as Xihao Erma Road and Thirteen Hongs. The Southern Building is one of China’s early’skyscrapers’.
