The Pacific Underwater World Exhibition Hall is located at the base of the Beijing Central Radio and TV Tower, primarily showcasing marine life. Here, you will admire a variety of beautiful marine creatures and experience the captivating scenery of the underwater world. The exhibition hall is home to hundreds of marine species, ranging from ferocious sharks to vibrant coral fish. Comprising the penguin pavilion, underwater tunnel, jellyfish area, and gift shop, the underwater world offers a diverse experience.
In the penguin pavilion, you can gain extensive knowledge about the endangered species, the Humboldt penguin. The underwater tunnel allows you to explore the seabed and observe hundreds of marine species from a diver’s perspective. In the computer classroom, visitors can operate computers to learn about marine life. Thrilling performances such as the shark dance and sea lion shows are also featured.
The entire venue is open from February 26th to October 26th, from 08:30 to 17:30. Concessions include free entry for children under 1.2 meters (inclusive) with an accompanying adult, a discounted ticket of 70 yuan per child for those between 1.2 meters (exclusive) and 1.4 meters (inclusive). Seniors aged 80 and above with identification are admitted for free, as are disabled individuals with a valid national disability certificate on Mondays (excluding holidays). Free entry is also offered to unpaid blood donors with a blood donation certificate and identification, as well as couriers and delivery personnel with relevant valid documents and identification. Sanitation workers receive discounts with appropriate documentation and identification.
Parking facilities are available at the Pacific Hanhai Underwater World Parking Lot, with a reference price of 8 yuan per hour for small vehicles and 16 yuan per hour for large vehicles. The address is 11 West Third Ring Road, Haidian District, Beijing, next to the Central Radio and TV Tower. The parking lot has 800 spaces. Luggage storage is available at no charge.
