Shuilian Mountain Butterfly Valley, covering an area of 20,000 square meters, is a significant butterfly ecological park in China, built with the support of technology and guided by market innovation. It integrates knowledge, fun, entertainment, and participation. Hundreds of green peacocks have been introduced to create a magnificent scene of ‘green peacocks spreading their wings, colorful feathers reflecting the morning sun’, meeting people’s desire for novelty, knowledge, and pleasure. It allows urban dwellers to step into nature, get close to it, and release their dreams under the sun. The butterfly garden showcases over 50 species of live butterflies all year round, nearly a million in total; the park can ensure 3,000-5,000 butterflies for public appreciation every day throughout the year. This includes the largest Chinese swallowtail – Golden Birdwing, the romantic Liang Zhu Swallowtail – Beautiful Swallowtail, the world-famous mimicry butterfly – Dead Leaf Butterfly, and the largest spotted butterfly in the world – Greater Eggfly. In the Bug趣 Garden, visitors can observe the world’s largest spider – Bird Eating Spider, the world’s largest scorpion – Rainforest Emperor Scorpion, and the star of amphibious reptiles – Green Iguana, among others. In the Small Bird Paradise, there are charming Acacia Birds and cute Budgerigars, which are regulars at the Small Bird Paradise, along with many other unnamed small birds waiting for you to join the fun. Additionally, visitors can get up close to the adorable Golden-flowered Squirrels and the large-tailed Capuchin Squirrels. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the day’s opening conditions.
