Mǎn Jǐng Quán is situated in the northwest corner of the E Ying Ci within Baotu Spring Park. As depicted in Ming Yan Bi’s ‘Seventy-two Famous Springs Poem’: ‘The river flows ceaselessly, the spring is full, and before the Ming Xiu Pavilion, the water is clear and gentle. It must have been the heavy spring rain at night, raising the water level by three feet, filling the small pond.’ The spring was filled in 1979 and was restored in July 1997. The spring pool is hexagonal, with granite railings along the pool edge, and the name of the spring is embedded on the south side. It is open all year round, with full-day access, subject to the specific operating status on the day.
