The Shenzhen Paleontology Museum is located next to the ancient fossil forest in Xianhu Botanical Garden, Shenzhen. The exhibition hall is shaped like a huge rock castle and is a novel paleontology museum. The building area of this museum is more than 2,000 square meters. It uses modern display means such as multimedia and displays more than 200 fossil specimens of different ancient organisms of different eras and types. It presents the knowledge of the origin and evolution of organisms and shows the formation process of ancient plant fossils.
