Jiuzhou Island is composed of nine small islands. It is close to the urban area, has a moderate location and relatively convenient transportation. The island has dense forests and a 2-meter-wide ring road. The coastline is 2,100 meters in circumference. There are three beaches: Jiuzhou Bay, Damei Bay and Dongwan. The seawater is clear. There are also many natural stone landscapes along the coastline, which are naturally formed and vivid. It takes about 15 minutes to stroll from the wharf on the west side of Jiuzhou Island to Damei Bay beach on the east side. You can play, take a walk and enjoy the sea breeze in the bay. Layers of fine sand form a natural cushion and make a rustling sound when stepped on. The beach is adjacent to an open area called the beach square, where a bonfire party can be held. Looking at the sea view and walking along the ring road to Jiuzhou Bay beach, you can witness the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge that ‘spans east and west like a flying bridge, turning a natural moat into a thoroughfare’. This is also a good place for taking photos where the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge intersects. Then walking west to the Rongtai section, you can have a panoramic view of Macau and the Lover’s Road. It is magnificent and charming! Stone landscapes In addition to beaches and sea views, the stone landscapes are also worth seeing on Jiuzhou Island. Under the action of wave weathering, the rocks are naturally formed and vivid. Some are like antelopes, some are like elephants, some are like camels and some are like generals. The natural stone landscapes surround the coastline, which makes people不得不叹服 the uncanny workmanship of nature. There are also huge rocks embracing each other to form caves with winding paths leading to secluded places. The relatively famous stone landscape is the Jiuzhou Echo Stone. It is a huge stone hillside facing the South China Sea, about 15 meters high and about 30 meters wide. In addition, there are slopes on Jiuzhou Island that can be climbed. Jiuzhou Island has three hills. The main peak is 56 meters above sea level. The peak is flat and rocky, and there are stone steps leading to the top. A navigation tower of Macau Airport is built on the northern peak. Under several big trees among the lush trees at the foot of the mountain, you can also see rows of seaside vacation houses with unique charm. Opening hours: Open all day all year round. Tips: Water is very expensive on the island. You can bring your own mineral water.
