The National Convention Center is located to the north of the Water Cube, a long building with eight floors and nearly 400 meters in length. The grand banquet hall on the first floor can accommodate up to 3,500 people for dining at the same time. It has hosted the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting week, with LED lights added to the grand banquet hall and multifunctional rooms. There are over 100 meeting rooms of various sizes, with the largest being able to host ultra-large conferences attended by 6000 people. The center is open all year round from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
