The Laiwu Colorful Stone Stream Scenic Area is located at the foot of Lianhua Mountain in Gaozhuang Street Office, Laicheng. The valley is rich in rocks containing various metal minerals, presenting a colorful array that can rival the Colorful Stone Stream of Mount Tai, hence it is known as Laiwu Colorful Stone Stream by travelers. The canyon stretches for about nine kilometers, with gurgling streams, singing birds, and fragrant flowers in summer. There are dozens of waterfalls of all sizes, and the stones in the valley are multicolored. The vegetation within the canyon is lush, and the stream water is crystal clear, resembling a picturesque scene. In winter, when temperatures plummet, the once gurgling streams freeze into white ‘jade belts’ that dance among the mountains, forming spectacular ice waterfalls on the cliffs.
The wildlife zoo in the scenic area offers visitors the opportunity to observe animals such as sika deer, wild boar, monkeys, wolves, swans, ostriches, peacocks, wild rabbits, goats, and pheasants. In addition to learning about the daily lives of these animals and observing their habits, visitors can also have close contact with them, feeding them personally, and exploring the unknown world of animals together, experiencing the endless joy they bring.
