Theatrical Performance Synopsis
The Oscar-winning quadruple crown, which has swept the globe with over 360+ awards and created history, has finally made its way to the stage. This film, now a theatrical performance, tells a dark story that unfolds within different barriers, where the line between simple harm and evil ceases to exist. The ultimate goal for everyone is merely to survive.
Meet the Kim family, who live in a dark, damp, cramped, and smelly semi-basement. Through chance and their continuous creation of opportunities, the Kims, like ‘parasites’, gradually find employment in the home of the wealthy Park family. Their ambitions, however, do not stop there. The elder brother, Ki-woo, even falls in love with the eldest daughter of the Park family.
Yet, within the luxurious mansion, there lies an even darker and lower space, and more unimaginable ‘parasites’… As time passes, another secret family that has been living as parasites in the villa emerges. The struggle for desire between these two lower-class families and their accumulated hatred towards the upper-class family ultimately erupts in a grand gathering.
This gripping tale is set to open from November 9th to 10th, with a running time of approximately 150 minutes, subject to the actual performance.
