Moye Island Lighthouse is located on the eastern part of the Shandong Peninsula and was originally constructed in the ninth year of the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, featuring a cylindrical cast-iron tower. During the Liberation War, the lighthouse suffered damage. In 1950, a 14-meter-high gray iron frame was rebuilt at the original site. In 1956, it was reconstructed into a red and white striped circular stone tower.
