Shoukang Palace served as the residence for the Empress Dowager and the Grand Empress Dowager during the Qing Dynasty. Concubines and consorts would also reside here. After the death of the Empress Dowager Xiaosheng Xian, Emperor Qianlong would still visit the Shoukang Palace on Christmas and the day before the Lantern Festival to offer incense, pay homage to the throne, and express his sorrow and longing. The opening hours are subject to the daily operational status.
