Courtyard No. 3 is a ancestral hall, Courtyard No. 5 is a residence, and Courtyard No. 7 is a garden. Later, Ronglu moved to Dongchang Hutong.

Courtyard No. 41 was originally a temple. It is said that the founding monk of the temple is the substitute monk of the emperor.

The newly built houses in Ju’er Hutong have won awards due to their architectural characteristics. In recent years, a large number of foreigners who like Beijing or have just arrived in Beijing have gradually gathered here. Now friends from France, the United States, Italy, Germany, Finland and more countries live here.

At night, foreigners in twos and threes shuttle through the hutong as if returning home, and it is immediately felt that foreigners in Beijing can more easily integrate themselves into Beijing’s life.
