Baiquanshan gets its name from the legend of the Baiquan Fairy. The scenic area is 7.5 kilometers deep. There are hundreds of mountain springs hidden in the mountains, making the valleys and streams continuous. Baiquanshan has four major characteristics: one beauty (beautiful mountains), two wonders (strange peaks), three beauties (beautiful waters), and four unique features (unique valleys). Entering the scenic area, the beautiful mountains and colors are like those in the south of the Yangtze River.
Every step presents a scene, which is thought-provoking. The strange cliffs and grotesque rocks have unique shapes. Each cliff has a different appearance, and each stone is a scene, inspiring endless reverie. The ‘Flying Rock’ stands in the air. The ‘Divine Tortoise Watching the Moon’, ‘Ten Thousand Years Stone Monkey’, ‘Buddha’s Palm’, and ‘Sitting and Listening to Sutras’ are extremely vivid. Legend has it that wherever the Baiquan Fairy points her finger, a gushing spring will form, making Baiquanshan full of springs everywhere and water everywhere, forming various landscapes such as springs, pools, waterfalls, streams, and rivers. No matter in spring, summer, autumn, or winter, the clear springs in Baiquanshan gurgle and tinkle melodiously. The large waterfalls include Tianhe Waterfall, Luohan Waterfall, Huitian Waterfall, and Feitian Waterfall. Famous springs include Lèyú Spring, Qinglong Spring, Zhīyú Spring, Shengmu Spring, Yuxian Spring, etc. At the back of the scenic area, a waterfall hangs on the top of the cliff, with a drop of more than 60 meters. It is like Guanyin Bodhisattva holding a pure vase and sprinkling sweet dew, hence the name ‘Guanyin Waterfall’. This waterfall has continuous water flow in spring, summer, and autumn. In winter, it forms a huge icicle, which is magnificent. In the unique Macaque Valley, there are countless kiwi fruit trees. At the end of Baiquanshan, a beautiful and magnificent green valley is formed, like a large green net covering the valley. There are also countless hawthorns, wild pears, hazelnuts, wild jujubes, and mulberries, which are extremely rare. Opening hours: From March 15 to November 15, 08:00 – 18:30; from November 16 to March 14.Baiquanshan
