Jiangfu Park is located in Chaoyang District, Beijing, next to Zhaoyang Golf. There is a wetland in the park, where reeds, lotus roots and calamus are widely planted. Many fish are stocked in the lake. Due to the quiet environment, many waterbirds are attracted, so it also attracts a large number of photography enthusiasts to come here for shooting and is known as a paradise for ‘bird shooting’. Jiangtai East Road divides the park into south and north gardens.
The north garden has a vermilion gate, which looks quite imposing. The gate of the south garden is like a thread-bound book, full of scholarly atmosphere. There is a large mural wall of the legend of Jiuxianqiao in the park. Next to it are two camel sculptures, and there are large camel footprints on the ground. In the Liao and Jin dynasties, grain was transported to the suburbs of Beijing by water transport. Camels were used to carry loads into the city at the Bahe Wharf. Here, camel sheds and granaries were built. Further inside, there is a lotus pond. In summer, it is full of lotus flowers, delicate and elegant. There is also an abandoned railway in the park. The trees on both sides are lush and verdant, which is a great place to take artistic photos. In autumn, the leaves in the park turn yellow and the reeds flutter. The scenery is very beautiful. The park also has a tent area and a children’s playground, which is very suitable for citizens to relax and entertain, and enjoy the spring scenery.
