The tomb of Feng Yuxiang is located on the east side of Xixi Kou and on the climbing path of Tianwaicun. The tomb is made of Taishan granite. It is adjacent to the mountain and faces a ravine. It is solemn and majestic. The self-composed poem “I” by Mr. Feng Yuxiang is engraved on the tomb wall. In front of the tomb is the Dazhong Bridge. The bridge spans across the two banks of the stone gorge. The two sides are protected by red iron railings. Against the backdrop of green mountains and trees, it appears even more majestic and magnificent. After the September 18th Incident in 1931, the patriotic general Feng Yuxiang opposed the non-resistance policy of the government at that time and lived in seclusion on Mount Tai in March 1932. In October of the same year, he went to Zhangjiakou to organize the Chahar People’s Anti-Japanese Allied Army and fought bloody battles with the Japanese invaders. In August 1933, he returned to Mount Tai again and stayed until 1935. Later, in May 1936 and August 1937, he made two short stays on Mount Tai successively and often stayed in the area around Puzhao Temple and Five Sages Shrine on Mount Tai. Open all year round and open all day. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on that day.
