The Colorful Stone Creek scenic area is located at the western foot of Mount Tai. It governs two scenic areas, Taohuayu and Taohuayuan. With an area of 1173 hectares and a forest coverage rate of over 85%, it is known as the ‘Mount Tai Forest Museum’, ‘Little Jiangnan of Mount Tai’, and ‘Little Jiuzhai in the North’. It is a leisure and sightseeing resort of Mount Tai. Along the walking path, it is winding and secluded. The steps are paved with random stones, appearing entirely natural. There are stone benches and tables everywhere for resting, full of rustic charm. Getting close to the water and playing in it is comfortable and pleasant, presenting a unique scenery.
