Baihua Park, located in Licheng District of Jinan, is a park primarily known for its botanical and floral landscapes, with fountains as a distinctive feature. Within the park, a variety of precious trees such as magnolia, peach, ligustrum, and cedar are planted. The park boasts several scenic spots including Baihua Spring, Lawn Area, Shanshui Garden, Sparse Forest Lawn, Bamboo Garden, Goldfish Bonsai Garden, Peony Garden, and Reed Flower Area.
Baihua Spring area, situated in the western part of the park, is composed of fountains, wall springs, ponds, architectural features, sculptures, and a variety of trees and flowers, highlighting the fountain landscape. The Lawn Area, facing the east gate, is a grassy space dominated by cedars, with a lush and layered greenery. Shanshui Garden, located between Baihua Spring and the Lawn Area, features a natural water viewing surface with water pavilions, pavilions, corridors, and piled rocks, creating a harmonious landscape of waterscape and garden architecture.
Sparse Forest Lawn and Bamboo Garden are located in the eastern part of the park. Large groups of trees, groves, and lawns form a fresh and tranquil sparse forest lawn. The Bamboo Garden is composed of bamboo forests, ponds, and naturally formed small squares, with the entire area dominated by autumn fruits and leaves, characterized by autumn scenery. The Goldfish Basin area and Peony Garden are located in the northern part of the park, with garden architecture as the main body, complemented by flowers, bonsai, and goldfish for visitors to enjoy.
At the northwest end of the park is the Reed Flower Area, with the Luwan water surface as the main feature. Reed Flower Pavilion is built by the pool, and the pool bank is planted with reeds, symbolizing the story of ‘beating reeds to make flowers bloom’. In the northeast corner of the park is an amusement park, equipped with bumper cars, spaceships, laser shooting, and goldfish water play entertainment facilities, as well as tea houses and restaurants to provide supporting services, making it an ideal place for rest and entertainment. The park is open all year round from 6:00 to 22:30.
