Located in the southern section of Chuancheng Street in Handan City, Hui Che Xiang stretches approximately 75 meters in length. It is believed to be the site where the Zhao nobleman Lin Xiangru made way for the general Lian Po, hence the name. On the eastern wall of the alley, there stands a stone stele erected in the twelfth year of the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty, inscribed with the six large characters ‘Lin Xiangru Hui Che Xiang’. Beside it, another stele narrates the historical story of Lin Xiangru prioritizing national interests and repeatedly yielding the way to Lian Po, striving for harmony between the general and the chancellor. The site is open all year round and is accessible 24/7.
