Taiping Temple Street is located in the west gate of the old city. It starts from the inner street of the west gate (now Quancheng Road) in the south and is connected to Xichenggen Street in the north. It is named after the Taiping Temple in the west of the street. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, as Gaodusi Lane in the east was full of banks and exchange shops, this street became the gathering place of security firms. After the middle of the last century, most of the houses on the street were residential. In 2002, with the widening of Quancheng Road, all except individual small courtyards on the street were demolished. When people come here, it can’t help but remind people of the past. The opening hours are subject to the opening status on the day.
