Ren’an Gate was first built in 1271, the seventh year of Zhiyuan period of Emperor Shizu of Yuan Dynasty. It has been renovated in successive dynasties. It was first built in 1347, the seventh year of Zhizheng period of Yuan Dynasty. It was formerly known as Yingbin Hall. In 1770, the thirty-fifth year of Qianlong period, it was changed into Zhubi Pavilion. Because emperors lived here when offering sacrifices to Mount Tai in the past, it is named ‘imperial seat’. There are five main rooms. It is a complete quadrangle courtyard with traditional form.
