Lingying Palace, formerly known as Tianxian Temple, is the lower temple of the Old Lady of Mount Tai. It is said that every year before the Spring Festival, the Old Lady of Mount Tai descends the mountain to do her shopping. Whoever she purchases from is bound to prosper and flourish throughout the year. When she descends the mountain, she resides here.
