Jinan International Garden Expo (short for Jinan Garden Expo) is the venue for the 7th China (Jinan) International Garden and Flower Expo, located in the University Science and Technology Park of Changqing District, southwest of Jinan city center, approximately 25 kilometers away from the urban area. Surrounded by beautiful scenery with both mountains and waters, it is connected to the historical and cultural ancient district of Changqing. The park mainly includes: public exhibition areas, central lake area, domestic garden exhibition areas, international future garden exhibition areas, special garden exhibition areas, leisure and entertainment areas, indoor exhibition areas, and other landscape areas. It is currently one of the largest land-based garden expos in China, with a total of 108 exhibition gardens, including 17 cities within the province, 45 other cities, China’s Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan regions, as well as 21 foreign cities, plus 9 designer exhibition gardens and 13 special gardens, presenting a splendid display of beauty. Key architectural features such as the Water Gate, Flower Expo Avenue, Harmony Square, Main Exhibition Hall, and Science and Technology Exhibition Hall are grand and distinctive. Jinan Garden Expo is a large-scale integrated international expo park that combines garden landscapes, eco-tourism, plant science popularization, cultural exhibitions, leisure vacations, and water tours. It will become a new representative tourist attraction in Shandong Province following the ‘one mountain, one water, one sage’. The park is open all year round from 06:00 to 21:00, with a closing service at 21:00. Parking facilities are available at the Jinan Garden Expo Joy Water World Parking Lot, which is free of charge, located at the ticket entrance of Jinan Garden Expo, with a capacity of 100 parking spaces.
