Kang Youwei’s Tomb is located on the north side of Damaidao Community, Zhonghan Street, Laoshan District, Qingdao, at the southern foot of Fushan, covering an area of 1000 square meters. The tomb is circular with a perimeter made of stone blocks, standing 0.6 meters high. In front of the tomb stands a stele inscribed with ‘Kang Youwei’s Tomb’, written by Kang Youwei’s disciple Liu Haisu. The back of the stele is engraved with ‘Epitaph of Kang from Nanhai’. Behind the tomb, there are six towering dragon cypresses, symbolizing the ‘Six Gentlemen of the Wuxu Reform’. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the day’s opening conditions.
