The Langya Art Museum is the first private art museum in Jiaonan City. It is a modern art museum with functions of collection, research, exhibition, exchange and service. The museum houses famous Chinese modern and contemporary paintings and collections related to the ancient imperial examination system. It contains precious historical materials such as examination papers, ticket stubs, floating tickets, cleaning lists, good news reports and cheat sheets from the imperial examination period. The imperial examination papers copied by Feng Yujia, the governor of Shaanxi Province during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty when he was a compiler in the Hanlin Academy, contain 288 examination papers of 222 successful candidates in the imperial examinations at the Jinshi and Juren levels. It is the treasure of the museum. There are more than 3,000 hand-copied imperial examination papers in the museum, and there are extremely rare certificates from the period of the imperial examination for Xiucai in the Qing Dynasty.
