Gaojia Gu, a granite peak, features a towering and steep eastern cliff, a 100-meter long ‘Sky Crack’ landscape on the western side, and a relatively flat top with an elevation of 407 meters.
Also known as ‘Gaojia Gu’, it is one of the higher peaks within the Hua Lou scenic area, with an elevation of 407 meters.
According to historical accounts, during the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty, a family with the surname Gao sought refuge on the summit during the ‘Yongle Sweeping North’ campaign, hence the name.
Today, relics from the time when the Gao family resided on the summit can still be found there.
