Lawn Village in Shui Bu Town was established during the Qing Dynasty’s Daoguang period, with a history of over 160 years. Although not ancient, the village has always valued education and cultural heritage. There are three existing sites of primary schools and private schools, and the village still retains the original stone tablets, ancestral halls, and trees from the time of its establishment. In 2001, it was awarded as a Civilized Demonstration Village by the Shui Bu Town Government. In 2012, it was recognized as a Livable Village in Guangdong Province, and in 2013, it was honored as a Sanitary Village in Guangdong Province. The village is open all year round with full-day access; however, the specific operating status is subject to the day’s opening conditions.
