Pangu King Cultural Park

The programs of the Yaoshan Bonfire Evening in Lian Nan are a series of Yao ethnic song and dance performances themed around ‘Yao Dance’, ‘Shua Ge Tang’, and ‘Long Drum Dance’. The Yaoshan Bonfire Evening holds significant historical and artistic value, reflecting the unique Pai Yao folk culture of China and the world. During the day, visitors can freely explore all the attractions of Pangu King Cultural Park, such as the Pangu King Main Hall and the Middle Hall.
The Yao people in Lian Nan are known as the Ba Pai Yao, an ancient ethnic minority with a touch of mystery. Lian Nan is the only place in the world where the complete ethnic customs and culture of the Ba Pai Yao are preserved. Over a long period of production, labor, and life, the Ba Pai Yao people have developed their own distinctive folk culture and arts, as well as colorful ethnic clothing and unique ethnic crafts, which still retain their ancient charm and have formed a unique ethnic style.
The Pangu King Cultural Park is a key poverty alleviation tourism project approved by the Guangdong Provincial Government and is the only Yao cultural park in the province. Located in Lian Nan city, it is nestled against the mountains and waters, with lush greenery, providing a sense of closeness to nature. Open all year round from 08:30 to 21:00.
