Jin’aozhou Theme Park is located at the confluence of the southern tributary of the Dongjiang River and the Fenxi River. It belongs to Jintai Village, Wanjiang District. It was completed at the end of 2001. It is a theme park with the mythological story of Jin’aozhou as its cultural background. Jin’aozhou Theme Park extends from Jintai Bridgehead to the ‘Jin’aozhou Ancient Pagoda’. It is 600 meters long and covers an area of 25,000 square meters. The center of the park is a multi-functional cultural square with an area of 6,000 square meters that can accommodate 10,000 people. In the center of the square, there is a large color music dry fountain with an area of 1,300 square meters. In the park, there is a wave lawn with an area of 2,500 square meters, spectacular stone railings along the river, frame corridors, landscape walls, children’s playgrounds, etc. There is also a cultural corridor 150 meters long that connects the Jin’aozhou Ancient Pagoda and reflects the humanities, history, geography and current situation of Wanjiang District, and a sculpture island protruding into the river. A copper Jin’ao will be placed in the small island. There is a Jin’aozhou stele on the shore to record the mythological story of Jin’aozhou. Opening hours: Open from 8:00 to 18:00 all year round.
