Tianxiang Scenic Area is located at the intersection of Ji’an Avenue and Luling Avenue in the east of Ji’an County, Jiangxi Province, near the Dangmian Mountain. The scenic area showcases the unique charm of Luling culture with the interplay and complementarity of ‘red, green, and ancient’ tourism resources.

Attraction 1: Wen Tianxiang Memorial Hall

The Wen Tianxiang Memorial Hall within the scenic area was originally built in 1984 and officially opened on January 9, 1992. The hall is divided into a life exhibition area and a process reenactment area, with the garden path system interconnected with Tianxiang Park. The architectural layout follows a central axis symmetry, palace-style, gradually rising from south to north, forming a group of ancient-style buildings, with the main structure being the Zhengqi Hall.


The basic display of the hall takes the life deeds of the national hero Wen Tianxiang as the main line, fully displaying the collection of cultural relics, pictures, and documents. It uses artistic techniques and modern technology, such as scene restoration, holographic imaging, touch screens, and multimedia images, to fully display the important life nodes and noble sentiments of the national hero Wen Tianxiang.

Attraction 2: General Park

The General Park within the scenic area is across the road from the Wen Tianxiang Memorial Hall and was built in 2006, opening to the public on August 1, 2007. The park is mainly divided into five parts: First, a large theme sculpture, which is a large sculpture with the leader’s poem ‘Ten Thousand Workers and Peasants Go to Ji’an’ as the theme, standing on the green land under the mountain; Second, the statue garden, with 46 half-body bronze statues of founding generals as the main body, is the center of the General Park; Third, the relief wall, with the typical stories of revolutionary activities in Ji’an by Peng Dehuai, Chen Yi, Zeng Shan, and other old proletarian revolutionaries; Fourth, the Revolutionary Heroes Monument, which is the center of the General Park; Fifth, a stele forest with the handwriting, calligraphy, and poetry of generals as the content.



Attraction 3: Tianxiang Park


Tianxiang Park, adjacent to the Wen Tianxiang Memorial Hall, is an open urban park integrating natural eco-tourism, cultural exchange, folk customs, tourism leisure, and business reception. It is integrated with the main urban landscapes such as the Wen Tianxiang Memorial Hall and the General Park. The park is constructed according to the spatial structure of ‘north mountain, south water, front lake, back stream, mountain surrounding water, and water depending on mountains.


‘ The park layout is centered around water, with attractions arranged around the lake. Entering from the south entrance, we can enjoy twelve beautiful landscapes: Yunfan Pavilion Shadow, Sanyu Ring Spring, Waterwheel Leisure, Pastoral Autumn Harvest, Qingzhou Silver Egret, Floating Light Leaping Gold, Peach Creek Seclusion, Fragrant Lotus Waterfall, Water Lane Ancient Charm, Scholarly Bamboo Shadow, Layered Ridges and Greenery, and Upright Pine Breeze.


These twelve landscapes form five major cultural sections: agriculture, handicrafts, folk customs, academies, and uprightness, showcasing the unique Luling charm.

Must-see Tips: 1.
1. Visitors need to register with valid documents for admission. Teams of more than 200 people need to make reservations in advance.


2. Please consciously accept security checks when entering the museum. Do not bring various prohibited and restricted items and pets into the venue.


3. Drunk people, those with limited capacity for conduct, and those with improper attire are not allowed to enter. Young children, elderly people with advanced age, and those with limited mobility must be accompanied by adults to enter.


4. Please do not make loud noises during the visit and set your mobile phone to silent mode to avoid disturbing others.


5. It is strictly prohibited to climb over the enclosure guardrail and touch the exhibits. Please consciously take good care of the exhibition and service facilities. If any damage is caused, compensation must be made at the original price and corresponding legal responsibilities shall be borne.


6. Do not eat in the exhibition hall. Please have meals in the designated area.


7. Do not smoke in the venue. Do not casually discard sundries and consciously maintain environmental hygiene.


8. Consciously abide by the visiting order. Do not run, chase, make noise, climb, jump or lie down in the museum.


9. Video recording is not allowed in the exhibition hall. In the exhibition halls where taking photos is allowed, do not use flashlights, selfie sticks and tripods.


10. Activities such as giving lectures, conducting investigations and recording in the museum can only be carried out after obtaining the consent of the museum.
