Wulong Hakka Cultural Garden is a renowned tourist destination themed around natural scenery, branded with Hakka culture, and rooted in dragon culture. It integrates multiple functions such as agricultural sightseeing, leisure entertainment, travel resorts, sports fitness, convention science education, and outdoor quality development training.
The park mainly consists of a forest zoo, botanical garden, green vegetable garden, hundred fruit garden, Wulong Lake Resort, water park, leisure fishing area, and Wulong Lake breeding area, making it a ‘Hakka Cultural Heritage Site and Integrated Leisure Tourism Complex’. Hakka culture is the soul of Wulong Hakka Cultural Garden, which gathers the essence of Hakka fortified houses from around the world, replicating four representative ones at a 1:1 scale: Zhencheng Tower (Dragon An Enclosure) from Yongding, Fujian, Dihua Residence (Dragon Residence Enclosure) from Meizhou, Guangdong, Yanyi Enclosure (Dragon Hui Enclosure) from Longnan, Jiangxi, and Guanxin Enclosure (Dragon Qing Enclosure) from Longnan, Jiangxi. Each fortified house embodies the diligence and wisdom of the Hakka people.
Within the cultural garden, Hakka architectural culture, dietary culture, clothing culture, dialect culture, quyi culture, and folk customs are fully displayed. Visitors can appreciate Hakka culture, understand Hakka philosophy, and learn the Hakka spirit, using the diligence, wisdom, and simplicity of the Hakka people to achieve social harmony. The scenic area not only reproduces the profound historical and cultural resources but also adds natural living resources on top.
