Gufu Cave Heaven

Gufu Cave Heaven is located at the junction of Shaoguan and Lechang cities, and is a large limestone cave. Inside the cave, stalactites and stalagmites abound, with a three-layered overlap reaching heights of up to 30 meters and a total area of over 12,000 square meters. Named ‘Gufu Rock’ due to its unique stone shapes that resemble immortals and Buddhas, the cave features a variety of stone flowers, columns, and curtains, each with distinct forms and vibrant colors, resembling a colorful scroll.

Among the rarest sights in Gufu Rock are the coral fossils from the seabed dating back 300 million years ago, whose shapes are still vividly discernible and intricately patterned, a testament to the craftsmanship of nature. Visitors who traverse the stone alleys can reach the higher-level Xiaoyao Palace, where the scenery is distinctly layered and increasingly varied. Distant mountains are interspersed with each other, lush forests and bamboo groves are arranged along the mountains, and exotic flora are abundant.

The visual impact from nature is astonishing.
